Balance weave mesh belt

A favoured all-round belt for smooth operation, strength-to-weight ratio and a wide range of mesh specifications, in round or flat spiral wire. Alternating left and right spiral coils are held by connecting crimp rods, giving excellent tracking and minimal lateral movement. Supplied with welded or knuckled edges, friction, positive or chain-edge drive, cross-flights, side plates, and double balanced spiral for high loads and narrower apertures.

Rod ladder belt

A simple, lightweight, cost-effective sprocket-driven belt for straight-running tasks, common in bakeries. Its open design allows efficient operation, minimal maintenance and easy cleaning. High-tensile rods give a positive drive that prevents tracking issues, smooth edges allow movement around radial bends, and U-bar filler rods add product support. Easy to assemble and disassemble.

Ladder belt / flat flex / enrober

Extra strength and support for demanding, medium-duty applications. Better distribution of product weight reduces metal fatigue and extends belt life. Lasts over twice as long as standard belts, with up to 90% belt strength increase, clean-in-place wash-down design, up to 78% open area for air and liquid flow, and a smooth carrying surface that minimises product damage.

Honeycomb (flat wire) belt

Durable and open, with a flat carrying surface and an excellent strength-to-weight ratio that helps energy efficiency. Made from flat wire strips connected by cross rods with positive sprocket drive. Large open area, quick drainage and free air circulation suit washing, drying, cooling and cooking.

Spiral freezer link belt (honeycomb weave)

An evolution of the straight-running honeycomb belt, built from heavy-duty flat wire for a strong, flat, durable surface. A slotted design lets it flex and collapse on either side for left and right-hand turns. Two rows of side links are standard, adding strength for turn belts. Multi-turn or straight running, with maximum open area for even spray and reduced deflection.

Options: heavy duty, double row, one or both edges. Height above conveying surface: 12.7, 19.1, 25.4, 38.1 or 50.8 mm. Maximum lane dividers = belt width ÷ 228.6 mm; ask for approval of more.

Spiral freezer belt

For multi-tier spiral conveyors in the food industry, and for conveyors that must manoeuvre around obstacles thanks to side-flex capability. Cross rods with collapsing links on each side; can be covered with spiral mesh for better product support. Middle links reduce turning radius and side guards prevent spillage. Suits cooking, cooling and freezing bread, pastries, vegetables, potatoes, fish and meat, plus blanching, proofing, drying, baking and pasteurising.

Plate belt

An exceptionally sturdy design for heavy loads in demanding engineering work such as presswork, die-casting and forging. Articulated slats withstand external forces and give a longer belt life, with high-load side chains for each plate link belt. Side plates, cross-flights, sprockets and drainage perforations available. Mild steel and stainless steel with various surface finishes.

Chain link belt

The most basic wire belt design, for light-duty drying and cooling, and as a collapsible screen for lift guards. Spiral coils woven into an open mesh: cost-effective, lightweight and popular for low-load conveying. Knuckled or welded edges, with alternating left and right-facing panels to address tracking. Friction-driven by parallel rollers, optionally with rubber or friction lining to cut drive tension.

Consecutive bent wire strands joined with specialised clips into 2-row modules with precisely engineered hexagonal apertures. Extra-large, uniform openings make it ideal for sizing and eliminating items such as fruit. Thicker wire gives a sturdy structure; available Standard or Rod Reinforced for heavier items.

Cord weave belt

A compact, flat mesh for small items and even heat distribution, from biscuit baking to sorting small components. Multiple spirals and cross rods per pitch create a “belt within a belt” that closes up the apertures for a high-density flat surface with uniform heat transfer. Commonly Grade 304 stainless steel or high carbon steel, friction roller drive (chain edge on request), with cross-flights and side plates if needed.

Wire conveyor belts: materials & edges

Developed for conditions conventional belts cannot handle, operating from -50 to 1100 °F where effective drainage is needed. Offered in various weave patterns.

Plastic modular belts

Individual plastic or steel modules linked with joining rods: a compromise between belt and chain conveyors, in straight-running and side-flexing designs. Flush grid, flat top, roller top and raised rib, with drive components, baffles and cleats. Run inclined, horizontal, corkscrew or circular, with side flights and centre cleats for product separation. Polypropylene withstands up to 100 °C and resists chemicals; polyethylene and polypropylene are the common hygienic plastics and nylon gives high impact strength.

Strong polyester fabric core with a PVC or PU covering: lightweight to medium weight with excellent price-to-value for airports, distribution centres, agriculture and food processing. Surface finishes include smooth, rough and diamond, with options in hardness, grip, colour, strength and thickness, plus cleats and side walls.
