Welded wire mesh

The most common wire mesh, also known as welded wire netting, hardware cloth or monkey wire. Galvanised or stainless steel wire for corrosion resistance and low maintenance, used for fencing, animal enclosures, security screens, concrete reinforcement, landscaping and industrial shelving. Material: electro-galvanised, hot-dipped galvanised or stainless steel (201/304/316), with optional PVC coating.

Welded wire mesh panels

Construction mesh and fence panels from mild steel, galvanised or stainless steel wire, welded into square or rectangular openings by automatic machines. Used in construction, agriculture, manufacturing and landscaping for fencing, animal enclosures, security screens, wall and floor concrete reinforcement, shelving and partitions. Finishes: galvanised after welding, or powder coated.

Woven square wire mesh

Galvanised woven wire mesh used to sieve grain and powder, filter liquids and gases, guard machinery enclosures, and as a substitute for wood strips in walls and ceilings. Material: mild steel, electro-galvanised or hot-dipped galvanised wire. Open or closed edge; blue galvanised finish available.

Epoxy coated wire mesh

Used as supporting layers in hydraulic and air filters, and as security screens in apartments and offices. Epoxy powder is electrostatically sprayed and cured over woven stainless, aluminium or mild steel mesh. Oil-immersion corrosion resistant, passes 96 hours of ASTM B117 salt spray, strong adhesion, flexible (folds over a 1 mm radius without surface breaks), and the cut edge wire does not fall off.

Stainless steel wire mesh

Also called wire cloth or filter mesh: an essential material for industrial filter equipment, used in filtration, sieving, fencing, reinforcement and decoration. Precisely woven with uniform openings from fine to coarse. Grades 201, 304, 316, 316L and 904L; custom weaves in Monel 400, molybdenum, Hastelloy, nickel and biphasic alloy wire.

Expanded metal mesh

Also called expanded sheet or diamond mesh: a metal sheet cut and stretched into diamond openings with interconnected strands. Solid and rigid with no welds, corrosion resistant, and open for airflow and light. Used for filter support layers, HVAC, construction, architecture, automotive, safety barriers and decoration.

Perforated metal

Also called perforated sheet or round-hole mesh: holes punched into metal sheets in uniform or custom patterns, for architecture, automotive, HVAC, filtration, acoustics and screening. Stainless steel, aluminium, galvanised and carbon steel; Monel 400 and titanium on request. Round, square, rectangular or any custom hole shape in straight or staggered (45° or 60°) layouts. Round holes from 0.8 mm to 25 mm in sheet thicknesses from 0.4 mm to 6 mm;

Fibreglass mesh

Plaster or stucco mesh that reinforces inner and outer walls, ceilings and floors, preventing cracking and improving structural integrity. Woven fibreglass yarn with an alkaline dispersion for tear resistance. Heavier weights suit outer walls, lighter suit inner walls.

Pipeline reinforcing mesh (CWC)

Concrete weight coating mesh from low-carbon galvanised steel (cold or hot-dipped, to ASTM). Line wires are deeply crimped then welded into a wave structure that takes concrete coating easily, protecting pipelines during installation and in service. Used on subsea gas and oil, wetland gas and river-bottom pipelines.

Low-visibility obstacle wire mesh (anti-tank mesh)

Also called tank trapping mesh: a defensive wire mesh woven from high-strength, corrosion-resistant iron wire that wraps the wheels of a vehicle and stops them rotating, slowing or halting its advance. Two forms: corrugated wire mesh, 10 m long, 4 m wide and 40 cm high, for laying on the ground or in grass; and wheeled wire mesh made of 10 to 20 cylindrical wire meshes, with greater stability and protection. The wire surface can be specially treated, for example with barbs. Supply for defence use may be subject to local regulations.

Razor barbed wire

Barbed tape for protecting boundaries and perimeters: razor-sharp points act as a physical and psychological deterrent for high-security applications. Use is restricted in some countries.

Barbed wire

Economical, easily installed fencing for farmers and ranchers, typically cattle, and adaptable to other needs. Two twisted strands with two or four-point barbs. Standard barb spacing is five inches; three inches is recommended where animal traffic, predators or security are concerns.
