Wedge wire slotted screen cylinders

Precision laser-cut notches welded by argon arc for strength and longer life. Digester top separator basket: ID 2400 × 3200 mm high, roundness ≤ 0.8 mm, slot 4–8 mm, cylindricity ≤ 1.5 mm, anti-clogging and self-cleaning. Also chip feeding inline strainers, sand trap conical baskets and extraction liquor screening.

No-welding & drilled hole screen cylinders

No-welding (mechanical locking) slotted cylinders give higher open area, high purity and a smooth surface against blinding and pegging. Drilled hole cylinders for inflow and outflow, coarse screens and headbox baskets: hole diameter ≥ 1.0 mm, smooth or profiled surface, plate thickness 5, 6 or 8 mm. Screw press screen baskets and plates also supplied.

EDM drilled plates & hole types

Small holes drilled in thick plate by electrical drilling for pulp washers, screw presses, dewatering, thickening and wastewater cleaning. 3–5° conical holes, ≥ 1.0 mm, plate 2–12 mm, give lower resistance, higher open area and screening capacity and uniform distribution. Electropolished 316L or 254SMO. Hole types: straight, conical drill, step drilled, corrugated with profile. Materials: SS316 (standard, higher chemical resistance), SS304 (suits OCC mills, higher strength and wear), 316L wires + 304 rings, 2205 duplex.

Pulper, extraction & strainer plates

Hydra pulper, extraction and strainer plates in a customised, more durable design. Materials: SS304, 316, 420, 630 and 2205 duplex, heat treated to HRC 40–48.

Paper machine mesh

Mesh for Fourdrinier machines (a moving mesh belt drains water to form a continuous paper web, for newsprint, writing paper and packaging) and cylinder machines (a mesh-covered perforated cylinder dips into pulp, forming a thin layer of fibres). Widths 1–10 m.
